This is a small informational/rant post about the Newgrounds Programming Forum.
It's full of snobs.
What seems to happen whenever someone asks a question is 'Google it, dumbass', 'Your website sucks, dumbass', or maybe 'I see you need help, but you suck anyway so I'm not going to help, dumbass'.
No one ever gets real help, they just get these snobby people questioning their programming skills, and never helping anything. If they DO happen to have an answer, they simply say 'You need to do this...Google it'. Sometimes, it's just a 'Google it post'.
Recently, there was a topic posted by a person wanting a coder to help with their website. The first majority of the people simply said 'If you aren't going to pay, then gtfo'. I, so graciously, offered to do it for free, but the topic quickly spiraled down after one specific user posted his stuff. He's been bombarded by the snoody programmers that seem to know everything, and probably doesn't have a chance as a respectable programming forum member again.
Sure, a few people do offer some good help, but the other majority doesn't offer anything of use, and just want a post count + 1, or maybe even a 'cool meter' + 1 (for joining the snobs).
Just to throw this out there, there ARE a few decent people that try to help out. They at least give a little more advice than others.
At LEAST add some constructive criticism.

To add to my rant, there are people that seem to destroy someones reputation because they asked a simple question. *cough*. Since the regulars of the programming forum like to stick together, the entire group ends up arguing against one person. All that does is kill the forum a little more, forcing people, who wish to become a part of the community, to leave.
That's the end of my rant.
