I haven't had the time or the motivation to recode and setup a new uploader for Knoxius.com, but I finally decided to do so.
Knoxius.com Uploader
Upload Example
The rules (Terms of Service, whatever) are there, along with max file size and allowed file types. There is a bit bigger of a selection of allowed types now, and the whole upload code is a LOT cleaner than it was before.
Even better, there are Javascript PRE-checks! This makes it a bit easier on the user when they attempt to upload a file. So far there is only a check for if the form is empty or not, and a check for the file's type. Unfortunately, the size check has stumped me in the Javascript portion, so just make sure your file is less than 10mb.
I will be updating the uploader over the next few days, fixing up the general layout/design of the pages, and probably adjusting my terms of service (so I don't get in trouble and stuff).
Quick Note: The example link provided is a download of a drum preset I created that you can use (FruityLoops file format). It is a rather nice club/dance loop, and it can be messed with to sound even better!
In other news, the open-source news system has been started, and so far has proved to be difficult. Right now I'm working on the 'install' form that will change a config.php file, which will contain the users information and shit. There's a confusing little loophole that I have to figure out, but after that, the system will already almost be done! Stay tuned...

I have created uploaders, news systems, contact forms, user systems, pm systems, and almost forums, so I decided that since my stuff is starting to become higher quality, I can probably start giving people open-source systems.
The first system I will probably create as open-source is a blog/news system. It will probably be more news-based, as it is not exactly as advanced as a blog. It will, unfortunately, be PHP/MySql, rather than just PHP and file system functions/properties (like Cutenews), but it will still be easy to install, if you have access to those resources.
It will be a simple install where the user inputs some information, which then saves to a 'config.php' file, which will control the important variables in the system. Easy as pie.
I don't know how long it will take me to complete the system, though. The general news system is done, but it will need a lot of updates to become suitable (user-friendly) for the public.
